Cleopatra used to take regular milk baths, milk being a natural source of skin-smoothing Lactic Acid. Our modern version is a refreshing refinishing serum suitable for most skin types. This Lactic Acid (mini) chemical peel gently sloughs away dead skin cells, prevents buildup and clarifies skin, leaving it primed and optimised to receive the full benefits of the subsequent skincare steps. With daily use of this liquid exfoliant, your skin will look plumper, and take on a youthful glow. If it’s good enough for the Queen of Egypt, it’s definitely good enough for us.
Formulated for sensitive skin, but we recommend that you perform a patch test before use.
This makes skin UV-sensitive, so be sure to use daily sun protection with this product.
Lactic Acid
A well-tolerated Alpha-Hydroxy Acid, it exfoliates, refines pores, but also moisturises skin. It’s also shown to improve hyperpigmentation, and stimulate collagen production by increasing Hyaluronic Acid deposition in skin.
With clean fingers, apply evenly onto face and neck. Follow up with face serums like Collagen Essence/Skin Repair.
For sensitive skin: 2-3 times a week in the PM.
Sunburn Alert: This product contains an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
